Month Formula In Excel
In excel sometimes when we write dates we write the spelling of a month like January, February, March, April and when there is a need we might want the spellings the names of this month’s to reflect as numbers, like you would like January to show as 1 ,February 2 , March as 3 , so forth and so on now.
Doing this manually is a difficult thing however there is a formula in excel called the Month formula what it allows you to do it it allows you to convert the spelling of a month into a number for the month so if f example in a cell you have written 16th September 1988 and then if you use the Month formula it will be able to extract the month from the spelling and return the value 09 because 09 is equal to September .
