Hello Everybody and welcome to MyeLesson
I’m your guru and in this video I’ m going to tell you how to identify or highlight duplicate or unique values in MS Excel. I have taken example of some text, some special characters and numbers, numbers and text and so we have alphanumeric, we have text, we have special characters, excel can identify any of these, for duplicate content for unique content. Let me show you how. This is the content we need to search for duplicate or unique then we need to select it, go to the home tab and click on conditional formatting, click on highlight cell rules and select duplicate values. See it gives you two options duplicate or unique. Currently duplicate is highlighted automatically you can see a reference of, you can see all the things that are, all the text which is a text or numbers or cells that have duplicate content are automatically highlighted in pink color, you can also change the color from here. Now in case you need to identify unique cells, just select unique and the unique cells get highlighted.
This is so very simple and so very easy. I hope you like this video. So until the next video, this is your guru now signing off for the day. Have a wonderful day ahead
